Junior Academy Brochure 2024-25 season
Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club will continue with the Junior Tennis Academy Program under the direction of Mike Thomson.
All Junior Academy participants are required to obtain a Junior Membership. Junior members are able to book courts for play at the club.
The club also offers weekly junior house leagues.
Mike’s dedicated team of teaching professionals are committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential using a proven approach to junior development, which combines challenging drills and technical know-how with good humour and lots of laughs, improvement is guaranteed.
Our Junior Academy Program is designed for:
- All age groups and varying levels of play
- Lessons are conducted from 4.00 pm- 6.00 pm Monday to Friday for 27 weeks.
- The option to participate for more than 1 day per week

Has been nationally recognized as a Tennis Professional for the last 34 years. Trained with #1 Doubles Player in the world, Daniel Nestor. A proven open player at the National Level. Practice Partner for 1983 French Open Champion, Yannick Noah. Operated internationally recognized “Thomson Tennis School” in Collingwood, Ontario.
